The NDIS Assist – Travel/Transport funding is designed to provide a range of services that are appropriate for the client’s circumstances and the support required. The funding is designed to help people who have a disability or health condition and who need to travel or move around. These can include people who need to travel for medical appointments, family members who need to take their relative for medical treatment, people who need to travel to attend rehabilitation or vocational training and people who need to travel for other reasons.
